Leith Community Education Centre provides a number of fun and exciting opportunities for Children and Young People to take part in a wide variety of activities.

Whether it’s coming along with friends or coming along to make new friends, the centre offers a safe environment with space to develop, learn, have fun and be part of the vibrant multi cultural community that is Leith.

The Youth and Children’s Clubs are always looking for new members to join in. Children and Young People can influence what activities are on offer. These are your clubs; you shape the things you want to do!

Lots of activities to try, including sports, crafts and computer games.  We're working on a mural project this term!  Come along to this all girls event every Thursday afternoon.

All About The Girls – Mural Project: All About The Girls group who meet at the centre every Thursday have started work with graphic artist Michael Fitzgerald to create an exciting new mural for the Trinity Room at Leith Community Centre.  The project has been funded by Respect Me, and is part of the anti-bullying campaign.  The girls have had a chance to talk about the bullying issues that face them at school and online through social media.  They have started to play around with images using Michael’s expertise to create some ideas for the wall in the Trinity Room.  So far they’ve been using digital images (they wanted to include pictures of all the artists!), but they plan to start spray painting next week….fancy finding out more?  If you’re a girl in P5-P7 you’re more than welcome to join us on a Thursday afternoon at 3.30, it only costs £1 to take part, and if mural painting isn’t your thing there are loads more activities to try.
